Prof. Laura Gocchia's Visit to Sunvou HQ

"Advancing Global Respiratory Care: Professor Laura Gochicoa Praises Sunvou's FeNO Innovations and Unified Standards"

Professor Laura Gochicoa, a global FeNO clinical expert, leader of multiple Task Forces of the American and European Respiratory Medicine Society (ATS) and ERS, incoming chair of the development of the Global Lung Function Initiative (GLI) lung function standards (including FeNO), co-chair of the External Liaison Committee of the American Thoracic Society (ATS), and chair of the Education Committee of the Latin American Respiratory Association (ALAT), recently visited the headquarters of Sunvou Medical for guidance. During her visit, she gave a special report as part of her academic tour to leading hospitals in Beijing, Nanjing, Hangzhou, and other locations. She also attended the "Discussion on Out-of-Hospital Prevention and Control of Chronic Respiratory Diseases" session at the Chinese Medical Association’s Respiratory Annual Meeting in Hangzhou to help advance the global promotion of Sunvou’s FeNO-based products across China, the United States, Europe, and beyond.

Professor Gochicoa previously invited Sunvou Medical to present its progress on FeNO technology from 1 to 1+2 at the Latin American Respiratory Conference (ALAT) last year and again in July this year. She also facilitated lectures by Professor Lin Jiangtao and Professor Zhang Min on "Expired Nitric Oxide Detection Technology and Expert Consensus on Application in Airway Diseases" and "Research Results on Nitric Oxide in Small Airways," respectively. In her special lecture, Professor Gochicoa shared her team’s extensive research findings on FeNO and emphasized the critical need for a global unified quality control standard. She highlighted how such standards can ensure the credibility of scientific research, reliability of clinical outcomes, and high-quality support for doctors and patients.

Professor Gochicoa commended Sunvou Medical’s efforts in advancing product technology and clinical applications, specifically praising their multi-molecule, multi-airway exhaled joint detection product. She noted its ability to address clinical challenges and fill gaps left by international products. Confident in the potential for collaboration, she expressed enthusiasm about working with organizations such as GLI to further academic and technological development in partnership with Sunvou Medical on an international scale.
